After having my last critique with my tutor it was said that my outcome didn’t really come off as a critical piece of design. It needed better context to complete the brief. From looking back at my research I found that the comics that I created needed to be put in to context of where these would be of relevance i.e bars, cafes, pubs. These places would be places were women might be picked up by strange men and where magazines and/or newspapers would be. It would also make sense to have comics in newspapers and magazines as that’s where they were seen for years. Hopefully the audience would stumble upon them and it would make them think about what they mean. This is why I changed the context of these comics to inside newspapers and magazines. I think this fits much more into critical design and I’m happier with the outcome.
